2016 Toyota Tacoma vs Toyota 4Runner: The Right Fit

While both the Toyota 4Runner and the Toyota Tacoma are considered some of the best off-roaders out there, they are not for everybody. So which of these two is the right model for you?

The Toyota 4Runner is all about having a more spacious interior. The 4Runner will also be powered by a 270hp engine that will return about 17mpg in the city and 22mpg on the highway. The Toyota Tacoma, on the other hand, will come in with a 159hp to 278hp engine that will return about 19mpg in the city and 24mpg on the highway.

One of the reasons why some people seems to prefer the Tacoma over the 4Runner is because of the separate truck bed which can come quite handy especially if you have a pet to carry around dirty gears to pack up.

The Toyota 4Runner will retail for $33,810 while the Toyota Tacoma will retail for $23,660. If you had to choose, which model will you go for?
