2016 Toyota Camry vs Hyundai Sonata: Mid-Size War

The Toyota Camry and the Hyundai Sonata are some of the best mid-size models you can get in the market especially if you are looking for a solid family car. However, if there can only be one on the top, which model do you think it should be?

The Toyota Camry will be coming in with a 2.5 liter I-4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will be delivering about 178hp and 170lb ft of torque and will return about 25mpg in the city and 35mpg on the highway.

The Hyundai Sonata, on the other hand, will come in with a 2.4 liter I-4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine will be delivering about 185hp and 178lb ft of torque and will return about 25mpg in the city and 38mpg on the highway making the Sonata slightly more fuel efficient on the highway.

The Toyota Camry will come with safety features like DRL, backup camera, stability control, tire pressure monitoring and more. The base model will retail for $23,070. The Hyundai Sonata will be fitted with safety features like traction control, stability control, tire pressure monitor and more and will retail for $21,300.
