The engine will be delivering about 143hp and 184lb ft of torque and will return an equivalent of 110mpg in the city and 99mpg on the highway. The base model will come with features like backup camera, parking aid, traction control and more.

The Nissan Leaf will retail for $29,010 while the Ford Focus Electric will retail for $29,170.
