2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE450 AMG Stop But Won’t Start

With new techs like the stop-start engine in place, the Mercedes-Benz GLE450 AMG will mostly likely think that the stopping of the engine was part of the plan but in this case, it is not since the vehicle won’t start back up when you release the brake.

Mercedes-Benz has released a new recall to recall back the Mercedes-Benz GLE450 AMG after it was reported that the engine might shut down when the driver stops and won’t start back up again. Drivers will have to push the ignition button once more to get the engine running.

A total of 5825 units of the Mercedes-Benz GLE450 AMG will be affected by the recall. According to Mercedes-Benz, those affected by the recall are those build from the 10th of December 2014 until the 6th of June 2016.

Mercedes will be fixing the issue by updating the software of the vehicle. The affected models will be contacted by Mercedes-Benz soon.
