2016 Jeep Renegade & Dodge Journey In Trouble For Different Reasons

FCA will be issuing two recalls that will affect the Jeep Renegade, Dodge Journey, and a few other FCA models.

The Jeep Renegade will be recalled after it was pointed out that units with the factory trailer hitch package might have been fitted with only one fastener per side. The current number was supposed to be three. Those affected will include the 2015 Jeep Renegade and the 2016 Jeep Renegade. Jeep will be fixing the issue by adding a couple of extra bolts on the Jeep Renegade. A total of 8561 units of the Jeep Renegade will be affected by this recall.

The other recall will affect the 2015-2016 Chrysler Town & Country, 206 Dodge Journey as well as the 2016 RAM ProMaster. According to the report, 26,299 units will be affected by the recall. Those affected by the recall will be getting a new transmission pump after it was reported that the pump might seize which could lead to the transmission having no hydraulic pressure.
