2016 Chevrolet Colorado: Even Diesel Won’t Save Them

When Chevrolet brought out the new Chevrolet Colorado, everybody was convinced that the Chevrolet Colorado will take over the Toyota Tacoma in no time and will be the one on the top last year but that did not happen.

At that time, many believe that it was because the buyers are holding out until the diesel powered Chevrolet Colorado arrive but the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax is here now and the Colorado is still trailing behind the Tacoma.

Despite managing to become on of the most fuel-efficient truck in the market with the 2WD system returning about 22mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway and the 4WD system offering about 20mpg in the city and 29mpg on the highway.

This comes to show that it was the engine option all along. At this point, the people are blaming the slow production rate of the Colorado as the reason why the sales number is so low. They have been trying to increase the production rate but they just can’t seem to catch up with the demand.
