2015 Ford F150 Won’t Protect Front Passenger

You might want to avoid sitting in the front when you get on the Ford F150. It has been reported that the seat belt on the 2015 Ford F-150 which were not installed correctly might not be able to protect the front passengers in an accident.

Ford has released a recall to recall back the 2015 Ford F150 after it was reported that the pretensioner system that works to support the passenger in an accident might have been installed incorrectly.

The affected models will be those made from the 22nd of January 2015 until the 17th of March 2015. More than 3000units of the 2015 Ford F-150 will be recalled with 2590 units being from the US.

Affected models will be getting their driver and front passenger safety belt retractor assembly replaced with a new unit. Ford did not announce when the recall will be starting so you might want to be careful if you think you own one of the affected models.
