This next-gen Ford Focus will have a familiar look to it despite enjoying a facelift. The grill is like those on the Ford Fiesta and the trim levels are like Edge, Titanium and Zetec.
The first major change is with the omitting of the bulky triangular air intakes on the front bumper. Aside from that, the 2014 Ford Focus will feature a slimmer elongated foglamps and a more classic chrome trapezoidal five-bar grille.
The 5th door also got a new shape to it which differs from the current Ford Focus. More importantly, the upcoming car will be priced similarly to its predecessor.
Inside the Focus, there will be an 8” touchscreen centre console. As such, there won’t be a need to meddle with the messy buttons any more. The only manual controls are for the air-conditioning.
In between the seats, there is a new cup holder which can be adjusted to the size of the drink. The most interesting part is the smartphone holder with a USB port right ahead of the gear lever.
The upcoming Ford Focus will have a variety of engine to choose from. They are the 1.5litre four-cylinder petrol EcoBoost which offers 148bhp or 178bhp, the 1.0 litre Ecoboost and the 1.6litre four-cylinder which offers 84bhp, 104bhp or 123bhp.
As for the diesel engines, there are the the 1.5-litre TDCi in 94bhp and 118bhp guise, a 94bhp and 113bhp 1.6-litre TDCi and a 148bhp 2.0-litre TDCi.
