This upcoming coupe is currently in development and will succeed the 2011 BMW 1 series M coupe. Spy shots of the M2 undergoing some tests have found its way onto the internet and as expected, the vehicle has parts and pieces from its siblings.
The BMW M2 mimics the performance hardwares on both the M3 and M4. This is obvious with the trademark spoke rims with Michelin Pilot Sport Tyres wrapped all around it. This is similar to the stuffs behind the shell as well.
Under the hood, the M2 will be powered with the TwinPower Turbo 3.0litre 6-cylinder engine. Again, this is something repetitive as it is the same as the ones on the M235i, M3 and M4. Nevertheless, the engine will offer 380bhp which is much more than M235i but short of the M3 and M4.
