The Wall Street Journal is known for its numerous sources when it comes to leaking purported Apple secrets. The latest comes way of the Apple iPad 3 which is rumored to launch on March 7th.

WSJ: AT&T and Verizon iPad 3 with 4G LTE coming

The WSJ reports that, “Verizon Wireless and AT&T Inc. will sell a version of the coming iPad that runs on their newest fourth-generation wireless networks, according to people familiar with the matter.”

WSJ goes on to add that no further information was available as to whether other carriers would be getting an LTE capable iPad 3 as well. We know that Sprint is set to take its 4G LTE network to the next level with the launch of the Sprint Galaxy Nexus. However just like they ended up being the last of the 3 to get the iPhone, the same may become true for a 4G LTE iPad 3.

Sprint Nextel Corp., T-Mobile USA and Apple declined to comment, reports the source.
