Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.0 ICS Update Now Less Than 3 Weeks Away?

Just before Christmas last year, Samsung went ahead and officially announced that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be making its way to the Samsung S2, Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Tab models. Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update tipped for March

That was the last time we heard about the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for these devices, until now. Late yesterday, controversial mobile industry insider Eldar Murtazin had this tweet to share:

“Android 4 aka ics for sgs2 will be officially available from march 1(depends from country/operator). Update over the air or using kies”

While Eldar Murtazin has been right in the past (but not always) and the fact that this has not been officially confirmed by Samsung, you should take this date with a grain of salt.
