HTC Rezound Buyer Finds Audio Glitch, Gets Free Galaxy Nexus From Verizon

The HTC Rezound arguably launched at the worst time possible on the Verizon Wireless network, right in between of the juggernaut Motorola DROID RAZR and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Nevertheless, the HTC Rezound is a solid Android option and the flagship HTC Android device on Big Red at the moment.

Verizon gives HTC Rezound buyer a new Samsung Galaxy Nexus as replacement

However while the HTC Rezound does pack some solid specs, the hype behind the Motorola DROID RAZR and Samsung Galaxy Nexus have made these two device the popular Android duo on Verizon Wireless. So much so that it looks like Verizon Wireless thinks swapping the HTC Rezound for a Galaxy Nexus would appease customers who were experiencing issues with the HTC phone.

According to Reddit user ‘Raneff’, who was experiencing audio issues with his HTC Rezound, Verizon Wireless sent him a Samsung Galaxy Nexus instead of a replacement Rezound. Now we know there is no shortage of HTC Rezound units as you can walk into any Verizon Wireless store right now and grab them so this was in fact quite strange.

We’ve heard of Apple’s good nature when it comes to replacing damaged iPhone, iPad and iPod touches but this would have to be the first time we’ve heard of Verizon being the good guy.
