Right Now, Customers Care More About A New iPhone Than Working Conditions In China

The news about the terrible working conditions and low wages at the factories in China where Apple products are being manufactured has continued to escalate. Now the folks over at the Times have gotten a statement from a current unidentified Apple executive that is further bad publicity for the Cupertino based company:

“You can either manufacture in comfortable, worker-friendly factories, or you can reinvent the product every year, and make it better and faster and cheaper, which requires factories that seem harsh by American standards. And right now, customers care more about a new iPhone than working conditions in China.”

Apple bad publicity continues to escalate

The statement and other such reports have gotten out of hand to the point where Apple PR can’t seem to control the damage and Apple CEO Tim Cook has publicly stated his outrage over these supposed claims.

Let’s see in which direction the situation heads once the weekend is over.
