Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX: Wirefly Bites Sizeable Chunk Off Verizon’s Price Tag

Right on cue, the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX went on sale on Verizon Wireless but unfortunately at a steep $299.99 with a two-year contract. Well there is now some good news for interested buyers as Wirefly just kept the DROID RAZR MAXX up for sale as well and knocked $70 off the contract price.

Verizon Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX cheaper at Wirefly

The folks over at Wirefly currently have the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX for $230 with a two-year contract. Now while that price tag might still feel a little high it is important to note that despite packing a whopping 3,300mAh battery that is capable of a full day’s of usage (almost twice the size of the standard DROID RAZR’s battery) it is only 2mm thicker. This is of course no biggie given that the original DROID RAZR measures in at only 7mm making it one of the thinnest smartphones in the world.

So if you’re one of those users who need a powerful smartphone but are usually away from chargers and other power outlets most of the day, the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX may be an ideal option. It’s other specs remain identical to the standard 1,780mAh Motorola DROID RAZR.
