Next-Gen Samsung Galaxy Tab To Take Galaxy Note Stylus, Add 3D Gestures?

Samsung product marketing manager Ryan Bidan had hinted that the next-generation Samsung Galaxy Tab would focus on the UI as its main point. According to LaptopMag, we could see the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 adopt both a stylus and 3D gesture support.

Next generation Samsung Galaxy Tab to adopt stylus and 3D gesture support?

In the interview from late Tuesday, the Samsung product manager suggested that the division lead would  integrate the stylus technology used in the Samsung Galaxy Note as well as bring 3D gestures using the front camera, face recognition and voice:

“I think a pen interface continues to make a lot of sense across a number of screen sizes, like the larger is more obvious of those… That’s about as specific as I can be without announcing a product,” said Bidan

Given that the iPad 2 is the reigning tablet champion at the moment and the Amazon Kindle Fire is selling like hotcakes as well, Samsung will certainly need to try something different if it hopes for its Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to take the lead.
