Samsung Galaxy S3 May Not Debut At MWC 2012, Likely 3 Months Away

With the Mobile World Congress event set to kick off on February 27 next month, high hopes rest on the Samsung Galaxy S3 making its first official appearance there. However new details have now surfaced suggesting that we may have to wait up to 3 more months before Samsung decides to make an announcement.

Samsung Galaxy S3 release date and specs (rumor)

With the Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 becoming major hits here in the US, it comes as no surprise that the Samsung Galaxy S3 is highly anticipated. According to famed tech blogger Eldar Murtazin who was once dubbed the James Bond of smartphones by Engadget, the Samsung Galaxy S3 will skip MWC 2012 and only be announced in April. This of course is just a rumor so we suggest taking it with a grain of salt just like any other proposed release date for the phone so far.

Now that isn’t the only news about the Samsung Galaxy S3 to surface today. Eldar Murtazin and his series of tweets also teased Samsung Galaxy S3 specs: 1.5 – 1.6GHz quad-core processor, a screen with a size of around 4.3-inches and HD resolution, a 12 megapixel camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
