Xbox 720 6 Times More Powerful Than 360, Hits Stores In Fall 2013?

Call it the Xbox 720 or Xbox Loop, the highly anticipated gaming console looks set for a late fall 2013 release and will be a lot more powerful than not only its predecessor but other upcoming gaming consoles.

According to the folks over at IGN, the successor to the Xbox 360 will come equipped with  an AMD 6000 series chip and will basically make it 20 percent more powerful than the upcoming Nintendo Wii U console. What this basically means is that it will be approximately six time more powerful than its predecessor, the Xbox 360.

All eyes are on E3 2012 for the big unveiling of the Xbox 720 however what we see may not be final in terms of specifications. Word is that Microsoft will be issuing dev kits sometime in August at which point more details regarding possible Kinect 2 integration will also surface. And if not, we always have the hacking community to make it happen.
