HTC One X Can’t Beat Samsung Galaxy S3 But Maybe This Can

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is without a doubt the Android phone to beat this year and so far it has outshined all its rivals including the HTC One X, Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX and even the iPhone 4S. However its throne may not be secure for long. Read on.

HTC One X may not be left fending off Samsung Galaxy S3 alone for long

Two new and powerful devices from HTC have shown up in Benchmark tests and one of them is heading over to Verizon reports CP. The device was on the GLBenchmark tool website with the model number HTC6435. This indicates that it is a follow up to HTC6425, Rezound. The site revealed that the phone will come with a 1.5GHz processor which is different from that of the Snapdragon S4 which they used in the One X when it was launched on AT&T this year.

The device tops the S4 chipset as it has more than 120fps as shown in the Egypt Offscreen and Pro 720p tests. The 1794 x 1080 display also suggests that is 1080p. Verizon are thought to be getting the new handset from HTC and therefore it should be compatible with 4G LTE and be able to stand up to the One X, Samsung Galaxy S3 and even possibly the iPhone 5, when it is revealed.

This is not the only device to have been uncovered recently from HTC. It is also thought that they will reveal a quad core tablet that will be in competition with the Kindle Fire and Google Nexus 7. It is thought that it will have the name of the HTC Vertex and come with a 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core chip, have a display of 1280 x 752 resolution, which means it will be HD. It should have ICS Android 4.0 and Sense 4.0.

HTC have already seen a great deal of success with the One series of handsets that brought Ice Cream Sandwich to the world of HTC users and it could have two more winners on the way for 2012.
