Motorola DROID RAZR HD shows up in GLBenchmarks, to rival US Samsung Galaxy S3

As you all know, the Motorola DROID RAZR HD is said to be underway and there have been rumours flying about all over the place regarding potential specs for the device.

We were pleased to read a DroidLife story today which reports that GLBenchmark have confirmed some of the final features of the device. Although the revealed specs are not quite the same impressive level as the rumored HTC device whose benchmark was also released, which will be on Verizon, but it’s still good to see some confirmed information on the RAZR HD.

The device has been codenamed “Vanquish” and the handset is said to have a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon  S4 (8960) processor, a HD 1196×760 display and on-screen navigation keys, as mentioned by Droid Life. Now this puts it on par with the Samsung Galaxy S3. What’s extra is the rumored 13-megapixel rear camera and beautiful full-Kevlar body versus the disappointing high gloss plastic finish that is the S3.

We hope to get more intel on the Motorola DROID RAZR HD real soon so can exactly see how it stacks up against Verizon’s current Android favorite the Samsung Galaxy S3.
