Samsung Galaxy Nexus Back On Sale In Google Play Store (Update)

According to Andronica, Google had to take the Nexus off the Google Play page and instead suggest that those who were interested would be contacted when it was for sale again. ABC News has said in a recent report that Google will be upgrading the Nexus to Jelly Bean Android 4.1 when it is back on sale.

This upgrade means that the Nexus will no longer be in breach of infringement and will appease the injunction of Apple. The Nexus got into difficulty due to the search bar and how it functioned. Google have said that the update fix will go out OTA and it will solve the problem.

Google have also said that upgrading the Galaxy Nexus to Jelly Bean will put an end to the patent issue and the Nexus, leaving it free to be sold in the Play Store.

So what sort of timeline can we expect? Well those interested should be able to buy the Google Nexus from the Play Store in around one weeks’ time.

Update: Looks like everything’s been fast tracked as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is back in the Google Play Store right now.
