AT&T Motorola Atrix HD Official, Brings The Game To S3

It seems that Motorola have decided the time is right to put up a landing page for their Atrix HD handset. According to DroidLife, the phone can now be seen in all its glory and is official on the Motorola website. However what is confusing is that there does not seem to have been an announcement from Motorola, regarding the phone. At the moment of writing the landing page is live so check it out for more info.

AT&T Motorola Atrix HD now official, to take on Samsung Galaxy S3

The landing page at Motorola tells us that the phone will be going to AT&T and it will have support for LTE radio. It comes packed with a 1.5GHz dual core processor and an 8 megapixel camera on the back. There will also be a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front and the display will be 4.5 inch LCD with ColorBoost and navigation keys on screen. It comes with 1GB of RAM, a battery of 1780mAh and 8 GB of storage which is expandable up to 32GB. The handset will be 8.4 mm thick and it will have Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. Overall it seems to be a serious contender to the Samsung Galaxy S3 which at the moment remains unchallenged by other than by the HTC One X.

The model has been listed as MB886. Anyone who is not in the know about the numbers of Motorola will not know that the company reserve anything in the 900s for what they consider to be their top tier handsets. However this does not mean this handset will not be up there in the range of fast phones, as it is in the 800s.

At this time the Samsung Galaxy S3 has a headstart however with a 1,780mAh battery the Motorola Atrix HD will be able to steal sales if it plays its cards right, by which we mean the marketing angle it chooses for the HD.
