Google of course announced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at their I/O event yesterday with the promise that the new OS would bring numerous new features to Android handsets. The search features have been updated and the OS now includes accessibility features for the blind and deaf including gestures, another update is to the voice typing feature, which now does not rely on an active Internet connection. Google Now also makes the OS more intelligent and there is more accurate typing thanks to a new algorithm. The update is expected to be released in the middle of July to owners of certain handsets.
