The Samsung Galaxy S3 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has an impressive 4.8” HD sAMOLED 720×1280 display. The phone is just 8.6mm thick and 133g in weight and benefits from a 2,100 mAh battery that extends talk and game time by a substantial amount over its predecessor the S2.

At present, Virgin Mobile Australia only has the Marble White 16GB version available, but the 16GB Pebble Blue version is believed to be coming in early June. If, however, you’re after the 32GB version, you will most likely have to wait until the end of June, according to Virgin’s website.

Prices for monthly plans start at $47 and go up according to the add-ons and data options you decide to add. On a side note, there are now beginning to be a growing number of Samsung Galaxy S3 models with 2GB RAM (Canada, Japan), as well as the South Korean Samsung Galaxy S3 which has a completely redesigned exterior that’s squarish like the original S2.
