Apple Design Boss: 2012 Apple Products Will Be Legendary

In a recent interview with the design boss of Apple, Jonathan Ive, The Telegraph revealed that the most impressive work from the designer was yet to come. According to BGR, Ive is one of the top executives who have made Apple the company it is today, working alongside the late Steve Jobs.

Jonathan Ive says upcoming products best work ever: iPhone 5, New MacBook Air or maybe HDTV?

Ive is the senior vice president in Industrial Design and has been behind some of the greatest and most wanted pieces of technology on the market, the iPhone and iPad. When the Telegraph asked him which designs he thought he would be remembered for, his reply was that they were working on something at the moment which feels like the best work ever to be done and this would be it. However the project is closely under wraps and Ive was unable to say anymore.

Rumors have been flying around that Apple is currently working on many products which have the potential to reinvent their iconic design. Among these is said to be a small version of their popular iPad, a much thinner MacBook Pro, HD TV and a redesign of the iPhone which is rumored to launch in the fall. The new phone is said to make use of rubber material as a bezel surrounding the phone and will be used to cover the antenna. Rumor has it that the rear of the case will be designed in aluminum and the display of the phone is said to be around four inches. Roll on the fall.

We’ll be at WWDC 2012 next month so stay tuned for a possible iPhone 5, iOS 6 or another big Apple announcement.
