Mini HTC One X Spotted In The Wild, May Have Mini Price Too

The HTC One X is taking the US by storm as its dual-core variant makes it way onto AT&T and Sprint (HTC EVO 4G LTE). Arguably the most powerful Android smartphone available on the market right now, if you thought HTC would stop there then you’ll be glad to know there’s more coming our way very soon.

Mini HTC One X spotted

The folks over at ITProPortal have stumbled upon what appears to be a baby HTC One X. Featuring design cues very similar to the HTC One X, it features a 3.2-inch screen instead of the massive 4.7-inch display on the flagship One X. Other specs include a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense UI on top.

Now if you’re wondering why a mid-range device gets to enjoy the good looks of the HTC One X, it would likely be because HTC promised late last year that they would only be releasing ‘hero’ devices this year. If this “mini HTC One X” makes its way to the US free on contract, we can see a lot of users waiting to get their hands on an affordable Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone.

Not much else is know at this time but given that the low-end market is missing Android 4.0 devices, HTC should act fast and release this budget Android smartphone before it is too late. We’ll keep you posted as more develops. Until then, check out the pictures below.
