If you were disappointed when Samsung announced that they would be pushing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Premium Suite update for the international version of the Samsung Galaxy Note from Q1 to Q2 then here is some good news. It looks like Samsung and AT&T have been working hard on getting it ready all this while and it may now just be weeks away.

AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update revealed at CTIA

The folks over at AndroidCentral managed to get their hands on an AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note at the CTIA conference in New Orleans and wouldn’t you know it, the unit was running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.

Now if you’re late to the party and are not sure what the Premium Suite version is all about, it is basically Android 4.0 + TouchWiz + some added extras. These added extras include apps like Shape Match and Formula Match which will be optimized for use with the device’s stylus, exclusive Angry Birds Space levels, PDF creators and much more for the 5.3-inch phablet.

While we don’t have a firm release date for the AT&T Galaxy Note Android 4.0 update yet, having it running around in the wild officially suggests that it is pretty much set to go. We’ll keep you posted as more develops. Until then checkout the video below to see the Galaxy Note in question.
