Samsung Galaxy S3 Gets 3 New Pals: AT&T, Verizon & T-Mobile Models Revealed Or Just More Galaxy Devices?

With the Samsung Galaxy S3 now set to be announced in just a few weeks, excitement levels have hit an all new high. And with rumors suggesting that Samsung may ‘pull an iPhone’ and rollout the Galaxy S3 globally, those who are expecting announcements for their carrier specific models are also keeping an eye out for an announcement next month.

Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile & AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3 model names revealed?

Now the Samsung Galaxy S3 name has just been joined by 3 more, quite possibly belonging to carriers like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile & Sprint. The names are Metrix, Legend and Velvet. As the team over at IntoMobile report, “some of these names could be slated for carrier-specific versions of certain models. We’ve already seen every U.S. carrier having its own name for the original Samsung Galaxy S and as far as we can tell, a similar thing could repeat with the forthcoming Galaxy S III.”

There is also the chance that these names may be reserved for other Galaxy branded smartphones so it is too early to tell at this time. Nevertheless, if the global release rumors come to fruition, we may see Samsung able to capitalize worldwide on the hype that they May 3rd debut of the Samsung Galaxy S3 will generate, instead of only seeing it roll out months later on shelves worldwide (the Samsung Galaxy S2 arrived in the US 5 months later only).

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is rumored to pack an Exynos quad-core processor, 4.8-inch Super AMOLED Plus III display, 2GB RAM, 12-megapixel camera, LTE and come preloaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
