Sinister Looking Samsung Galaxy S3 Caught On Video, 1.4GHz Quad-Core Chip Reconfirmed [LEAK]

Who didn’t see this coming. With just a couple of weeks to go before Samsung is set to unveil the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3, have the folks over at Tinhte in Vietnam purportedly gotten their hands on it. Now if you’re wondering why the name of that Vietnamese blog sounds so familiar, it is because they were one of the first to get their hands on the iPhone 4 before it was released.

Now the first thing you will notice is the sinister looking design of the Samsung Galaxy S3. The reason for this is because the shell is just to keep the final design in disguise. If anything, this particular Samsung Galaxy S3 unit may be in the wild for carrier testing. In addition to posting a video and snapping some pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S3, the blog ran some tests on the device to confirm that it does house a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, runs Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz, and has a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution display (the test shows “1184 x 720″ due to the on-screen button display like in the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

So it looks like those rumored specs about the Samsung Galaxy S3 might come true after all. What remains unconfirmed is the ceramic design, its actual screen size, the 2GB RAM, 12-megapixel rear camera and wireless charging capabilities.
