Sprint Evo One: June 6, 4.7″ HD Screen, Big Battery, EVO Colors, LTE?

If you are on Sprint then you will have noticed that there seems to be a slump when it comes to new top-model smartphone releases in the past month or so. If anything, most Sprint users who are due for an upgrade are either waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S3 or iPhone 5. Well there is now another device to add to that list which is tipped for a June 6 release – Sprint’s version of the HTC One X.

HTC EVO One to join Samsung Galaxy S3, iPhone 5 & Galaxy Nexus on Sprint

According to AndroidCentral, Sprint may be set to launch the One X as the “HTC EVO One” sometime in June. It will be a 4G LTE phone given that Sprint is expected to turn on LTE sometime this summer in a couple of cities across the US.

Rumored specs for the Sprint HTC EVO One include a Black and red color combination like other EVO devices along with a kickstand, 4.7 inch 720p AMOLED screen, 1.5 dual-core Krait processor (Snapdragon S4), 2650 mAh non-removal battery, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with 4.0 Sense, 8-megapixel camera with 2.0 front-facing camera, LTE, and of course Beats by Dre audio integration.

Anyone excited by the HTC EVO One or are your eyes set on the other three smartphones mentioned at the top? Sound off in the comments below.
