[PICS] HTC One X Superphone Outruns Samsung Galaxy S3 & iPhone 5 To AT&T

The AT&T version of the most anticipated HTC Android smartphone has finally broken cover. Called the HTC One X (although it may have a different name on AT&T), images of its surfaced on the Web a couple of hours ago reportedly posted by an AT&T tester (notice the weighing scales in the picture below).

AT&T HTC One X pictures leaked

First showcased back in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress event, the HTC One X boasts a Tegra 3 quad-core processor. However given that the AT&T variant will feature 4G LTE connectivity which is incompatible with the Tegra 3 processor, we will find a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor instead. Recent tests have shown though that dual-core processors are as capable as the Tegra 3 quad-core chip so it won’t be such a major trade-off.

To rival upcoming AT&T iPhone ‘5’ and Samsung Galaxy ‘S3’

Expected to hit AT&T in just a few weeks, its one weakness would be that it has 16GB internal storage only. Otherwise, this is a smartphone to look out for if you’re on AT&T and will rival the likes of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5.

Anyone else excited about the HTC One X or has the Samsung Galaxy S3 hype just too much to ignore? Sound off in the comments below.
