Samsung Galaxy Nexus Free On Contract At Best Buy Now

If you ever needed another reason to buy a Samsung Galaxy Nexus then here it is. The first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone (and the only one to date with on-screen keys and no custom UIs on top), is now available free with a 3-year contract at multiple carriers in Canada. This includes Rogers, Bell and Fido.

Simultaneously, you can grab them on Virgin Mobile and TELUS at $39.99 and $79.99 respectively. Best Buy currently is offering all these deals and the only downside to it would be the extremely lengthy contracts. Sure, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the cream of the crop right now but it won’t even be until Christmas before the next Nexus smartphone is announced and the Galaxy Nexus is cast aside just like the Nexus S was (to refresh your memory, the Nexus S has also yet to receive its Android Ice Cream Sandwich update).

However the Galaxy Nexus is still one of the best smartphones on the market at the moment and the only other Android smartphones that rival it would be the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Motorola RAZR MAXX. Unfortunately, successors to both these smartphones may be right around the corner (Samsung Galaxy S3 and Motorola DROID Fighter).
