When Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich was unveiled, its new UI and design elements took developers and Android fans by surprise. From the little details like the Roboto font to the ice blue theme and transitions, Android 4.0 was certainly a delight to look at.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich inspired Live Wallpaper
Earlier this week, we announced that the Roboto font was available for download for those who wished to tweak the fonts used in certain widgets on their current non-Ice Cream Sandwich phones. Now, a developer by the name of mobile_sensei over at RootzWiki has gone ahead and created three unique Android live wallpapers based on the Android 4.0 LWP called Phase Beam.
The developer swapped the floating spheres with icons, allowing for owners of Android 4.0 devices like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus to find further ways to customize their smartphone and make it unique for them. Now installation is just like in the case of any third party app so you are good to go. However the folks over at Droid-Life add that you might only be able to install on Live Wallpaper at a time. We can’t confirm this but if you run into a similar issue, please sound off in the comments below.
