The official HTC blog has gone ahead and released a list of all the Android smartphones and tablets that will be getting the Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich upgrade. This comes as good news for many HTC users as well as better news for HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE users since their Android 4.0 ICS update is rolling out right now.
HTC Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update confirmed for:
DROID Incredible 2 by HTC, HTC Amaze 4G, HTC Desire S, HTC Desire HD, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G, HTC Incredible S, HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XL, HTC Sensation 4G, HTC Sensation XE, HTC Raider, HTC Rezound, HTC Rhyme, HTC Thunderbolt, and HTC Vivid.
With no fixed release date for the updates but confirmation of the devices, users will no doubt now have a hard time keeping it out of their mind now. I know I will.
On a side note, certain devices like the HTC Inspire 4G haven’t been listed but given that it is almost identical to the HTC Desire HD, we won’t rule it out of the Android 4.0 ICS update just yet.
