HTC One X Renamed “One XL”, Now At Best Buy For Pre-Order [DL]

The HTC One X has all the making of a cross-carrier flagship Android phone and after its confirmation that it would be headed to AT&T, Best Buy appears to have been prepping early to begin with pre-orders.

HTC One X unofficially up for pre-order at Best Buy today, renamed One XL (DL)

Now the AT&T HTC One X will not feature the Tegra 3 quad-core processor but instead go with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 chip in order to be LTE capable. However it will still retain that beautiful 4.7-inch HD Super LCD 2 screen.

According to Droid-Life and their sources, “BBY stores are ready to take pre-orders as early as today. With no official pricing given, we would assume that they will let you reserve yours by putting down $50 or so.”

In addition to unofficially opening up pre-orders for the HTC One X, the source suggests that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone will be renamed to HTC One XL. Given its massive screen size, we think the name better suits it.
