[DIY] How To Make Apple Logo On Back Of iPhone Glow In 5 Minutes

Do you happen to own an iPhone 4 or 4S? If so do you wish the logo on the rear glass panel of your iPhone would glow like in the MacBook Air when the display is turned on? If you answered yes then this 5 minute DIY will video will help you achieve just that.

How to make your iPhone 4 or 4S rear logo glow like a MacBook Air

An iPhone user in China has developed a mod which will allow you to insert a light panel and replace the rear glass shell with a transparent Apple logo in under 5 minutes. And the cool thing here is that you can apparently do it yourself at home.

According to K.O. Gadget, the mod doesn’t require special equipment but you will need to purchase that mod kit. After it is applied, the rear panel will allow light to pass through whenever the display turns on. To see what I mean, check out the video below!

Update: OK we managed to get our hands on the mod kit and for starters have to admit that it isn’t as simple or quick as the video puts it. While I did manage to successfully apply the mod, it took me a good 45 minutes to do so. On a side note, the mod does not seem to affect battery life in any way.
