Pokemon X & Y’s Pokebank Release Isn’t All Candy & Sunshine

Pokemon has been a very successful franchise for Nintendo and it was more than a decade since the first game arrived. With Pokemon X & Y, the franchise has delivered another great adventure.

The community of Pokemon fans have found themselves in a crisis it appears as Nintendo offered cloud storage so that gamers could bring older Pokemon into the new Pokemon X & Y game i.e.the Pokebank.

When the service was launched it caused the servers to crash and this divided the fan base into two segments over in the forums. One group are hopeful for PokeBank while the other half are worried.

The group that are worried are because of hackers who could break past security and bring hacked Pokemon into Pokemon X & Y.

In Pokemon X & Y one of the biggest achievements is getting a shiny Pokemon. However, hackers could bring hacked versions of the shiny Pokemon into the game and these could then roam freely throughout the Kalos region. You just have to stop by YouTube to see what has already managed to slip into Pokemon X & Y already despite Pokebank only available in limited regions.

Nintendo are going to have to do something to ensure that this doesn’t happen but at this time we are not sure they are much bothered about it. So where do you stand?
