Two weeks ago, Pokemon fans were left in turmoil after witnessing the much anticipated PokeBank having a failed launch. The release was supposed to be a smooth one but it caused the eShop to crash instead. Even Nintendo were caught surprised on the happening.
Following the server crash, the game developer made the right call to hold the PokeBank’s release and started restoring the eShop. However, the much wanted service which allows players to transfer previous versions’ Pokemon to Pokemon X &Y found its way to the Japanese market, thus leaving the US Pokemon community frustrated.
As soon as the eShop got restored, the US players noticed the PokeBank still on the market but were unavailable. One Reddit user known as MegaPaper saw it. In spite of that, the Redditor also revealed that it has gone missing yesterday. After a thorough search is done, MegaPaper found it in the QR code along with its unavailable status but not directly anymore.
Fans are not at all happy thinking that Nintendo is teasing them. In reality, the PokeBank seen on eShop prior to its removal was actually a placeholder. The fans have failed to understand this resulting to a misunderstanding.
Aside from all that, the US Pokemon community admitted that the PokeBank is still on their wishlist. Until Nintendo releases the PokeBank, the fans will continue to ponder on when it will arrive.
