New Mazda CX-5 Interior Facelift Will Complete The Package

There is no doubt that the existing Mazda CX-5 is the best SUV in the world right now. This cannot be helped as the CX-5 has the perfect balance in reliability, efficiency and power. On the other hand, many felt that things could have been better for the CX-5’s interior.

While it may not all be that bad for the existing CX-5, the interior could use a bolder design to balance it out with its exterior. Mazda is aware of the fans feedback and promises to address the matter in the future facelift model that is due to arrive in 2016.

Today, car junkies can already get a rough idea of the future Cx-5’s interior after an image depicting the subject got leaked online. Aside from the design and colours, the biggest highlight in the spy shot is the infotainment system.

In detail, the display screen is no longer embedded on the dashboard. Instead, it stands above the central dash to give off a more luxurious feel. On the other hand, such a positioning isn’t exactly new in the automotive market as it is practiced on most German cars, particularly the BMW.

Nevertheless, the change will be welcomed with open arms since it allows better planning for the controls and switches on the central console. Together with Mazda’2 KODO design, the upcoming CX-5 Facelift will surely be an upgrade from the existing model.
