Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD vs Samsung Galaxy S4: Two Great Smartphones

Smartphones today are too costly to own. This is why many consumers would rather purchase a flagship device when the prices have decreased overtime. This explains why the Motorola DROID RAZR Maxx HD and the Samsung Galaxy S4 is still selling well. However, which of them is the better purchase?

Looking at the display,   the Samsung Galaxy S4 has got a bigger 4.99” screen that produces 441ppi. This is so much sharper than the 312ppi produced on the RAZR Maxx HD’s 4.7” display. However, the larger screen on the S4 means that it drains its 2600mAh battery faster. The Maxx HD is truly revolutionary as it arrived with a whopping 3300mAh battery.

In terms of processors, the S4 runs on the 1.6GHz 8-core processor with 2GB RAM. This is so much faster than the old 1.5GHz 2-core processor with 1GB of RAM on the Maxx HD.

When it comes to cameras, the Maxx HD is equipped with an 8MP rear and 13MP front shooter. Despite its age, the rear camera is still able to shoot at 1080p. The S4 is still better with its 13MP rear and 2MP front cameras.

Obviously, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is the better device. On the other hand, it cost twice more than the Motorola DROID RAZR Maxx HD. Is the extra fee for the S4 worth it? You decide.
