Mercedes-Benz has reached a new milestone in its social network popularity. This was celebrated by the German carmaker after they achieved more than 17 million likes on their Facebook page. What makes it more special is that 2 million of those likes came from July onwards.
As such, Mercedes-Benz was named as the champion in getting the most likes in a short pace of time. Analysts revealed that the company’s Facebook page is now valued at €7.2 million. This puts Mercedes on first place, far ahead of Aston Martin and Land Rover that are positioned at second and third place respectively.
Mercedes shared the information on their Facebook page and confirms that they will be creating the Mercedes AMG GT sports car with mounted tape as a symbol of this accomplishment.
On the other hand, it is worth noting that close rivals, BMW, has a higher ‘Like’ figure on their Facebook page but when it comes to interactions and activity, BMW is not valued highly.
