Recently Tetsuya Nomura, the developer behind Kingdom Hearts 3, said that keyblade weapons may become vehicles in the game. He pointed out suggestions from the planning side indicate that this could be a type of gimmick, but the keyblade does have infinite possibilities.

There was talk about tapings of character voices which would be finalised during the summer and these point to the fact that Kingdom Hearts 3 could be released in 2015.

“At the moment, Haley [Sora’s voice actor] hints that the developers are hard at work. The voice actors are only needed once the game’s fundamentals and establishment are done and dealt with. Haley also added that sometimes other voice actors are called upon to play Sora if an event where the protagonist doing some time traveling is to happen.”

Haley went on to say that once all the mechanical aspects of the game were over and done with, he would go on to record the script and this would be in the summer. Fans of the series had hoped that the game would come out before 2015, however it is more likely that it will be 2015 or even 2016.

Tetsuya said that the game would arrive in late 2015. But another forum member said that they were not counting on seeing it until 2016.

Nomura said that Kingdom Hearts 3 would get new updates and the capabilities of the keyblade would be infinite, according to Siliconera.com. Kpopstarz said that they expected vehicles in Kingdom Hearts 3 to be fully armed.
