Honda Clarity May Live Up To Its Name

The future seems to be bright with more clear air, and that spells more hydrogen-fueled vehicles. Honda recently joined in what may become a very crowded segment in the automotive industry (hydrogen-fueled electric vehicles), and it has certainly made waves at the recent LA Auto Show.

It’s still quite a while until the hydrogen fuel source’s is constructed. At the moment, there are about 60 to 80 hydrogen stations in California (primarily in the Los Angeles, San Francisco-Bay and Sacramento areas), and the numbers will only be increasing should the Northeast be tackled next.

The Honda Clarity has a futuristic touch to its design, featuring a nicely swept front end that merges into a raked windshield that flows one through a rounded roofline that terminates at the rear end. Those lines are a mere resemblance of hatchback vehicles, and also worthy to know is that it will feature Apple Play and Android Auto in its infotainment equipment.

It is also expected that all automakers will be helping each other in expanding the number of hydrogen-fuelling stations, as Ford, Mercedes-Benz and General Motors will be offering their hydrogen versions of the vehicles by 2020 too. The future is really coming and it’ll definitely be here before we even know it.
