Dodge Recovers From Losses Through Viper Discounts

At the start of 2014, Dodge became an endangered carmaker after the company announced on more financial losses. Today, however, it is a different story as Dodge managed to pick themselves up and enjoy big profits.

It started raining dollars for Dodge after the company decided to slash $15,000 from the Viper’s price tag. Things got a whole lot sweeter for consumers when they learned that the cheaper Viper too has an extra 5hp to offer.

In detail, the Dodge Viper now retails at an entry level price of $84,995 which automatically makes it as one of the cheapest sports car around. Also, consumers don’t have to spend so much on extras since Dodge is also offering add-ons for a cheap.

There are two trims available and they are the TA and the GTS. The former comes with the Aero Package that offers front lower dive planes, front splitter, competition rear spoiler, a dual-mode suspension supporting 18- or 19-inch matte black wheels on Pirelli PZero Corsa tires, two-piece Brembos rotors with black and orange calipers and performance pads, and a five-mode electronic stability control.

The GTS trim, on the other hand, offers Laguna leather seats as standard, an Alcantara headliner and an 18-speaker Harman Kardon system. Also, the Viper GTS is offered with Ceramic Blue and black stripes, orange brake calipers and GTS gloss black badging.

The Dodge Viper TA is priced at $101,995 and the Viper GTS retails at $107,995. Either way, the Viper is still among the cheapest and the most powerful cars in the market, thus, reviving their market appeal.
