Fans of the Ford Mustang are in for a treat. A spy shot image of the 2016 Shelby Mustang has leaked online and it shows off the interior of the vehicle.
When analysing the spy shot, we were greeted with a typical Mustang dashboard and racing steering wheel. What aroused our curiosity is the big red button that lay behind the steering wheel. After some digging, we realized that the big red button is meant for emergency stop during testing.
Of course, the red button won’t be coming in the final product. The picture is actually taken to confirm that the Shelby Mustang will be operated with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Obviously, the traditional transmission system is in place to ensure an authentic driving experience.
This is certainly exciting since the Shelby Mustang will uphold the racing heritage that is legendary in the automotive industry. Of course, details on the sports car is still scarce at the moment but fans can look forward to more reveals in the coming year.
