The Jeep Wrangler is one of the oldest lines of vehicles and later this year, a new generation of Wranglers will be making an entry in the automotive market. Unlike all the Wranglers before this, this upcoming model is said to come with a gentler design and better performance.
In detail, Jeep has teased that the future Wrangler is going to come with a lighter framework, thus making it more fuel efficient and better optimized for power. Also, it will be offered with a newly developed 3.6 liter 6 cylinder engine and a new direct injection system to the Pentastar motor nicknamed PUG. Of course, consumers can still opt for the 2.8L V4 diesel or the 3.8L V6 engine.
While details on the future Wrangler might still be scarce at the moment, consumers can still be certain that the upcoming vehicle will still be a powerful off-roading beast. The next-gen Wrangler will still be coming with Jeep’s off-roading technology which means to say that the vehicle is capable of climbing mountains, crossing rivers and even surf on sand dunes.
With that being said, fans of the Wrangler can look forward to a Jeep Revolution towards the end of this year. Gone are the days where the Wrangler is simply a war tool as the future model looks to conquer the hearts of the general consumers.
