2016 Chevy Camaro: Its The Hobbit In The Family

It is no secret that Chevrolet is producing the next-gen Camaro and the sports car is due to make its debut in 2016. Today, the world can already catch a glimpse of the Camaro in action after spy shots of the vehicle running some tests got leaked online.

While there isn’t much to speak of, the spy shots confirmed that the Camaro is going to be smaller than before. The sole structure of the Camaro is simply not as muscular as the existing model, thus, confirming that the car will also be lighter.

If our interpretation is correct, then the Camaro will be better optimized for power and has improved fuel consumption ratings. Also, it would make sense since the Camaro is built on the ATS platform that is also used by the Cadillac ATS Coupe.

On the downside of things, the Camaro is well wrapped up in camouflage that there is now way for us to discuss on its styling. For more details on this, we will have to wait until Chevrolet launches the Camaro concept model at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show.
