2016 Chevy Camaro: Growing Smaller & Lighter

Spy shots of the upcoming Chevrolet Camaro has leaked online and it somehow confirms that the highly anticipated sports car is going to be smaller than ever.

This is not surprising as the Camaro is said to be built on the ATS platform that is the same one used by the Cadillac ATS Coupe. Being smaller, the Camaro will surely be lighter too. This would mean that the car will have better power output and improved fuel economy.

There isn’t much to say on the Camaro’s design as the test mule in the spy shots is well-wrapped in thick camouflage. However, we can still see a new front shape that will surely house new headlamps and grille.

The Chevrolet Camaro is currently being developed and will look to make its debut in 2016. When the car arrives, it will be challenging the Dodge Challenger and the Ford Mustang. Meanwhile, you can check out the spy shots for yourself by clicking here.
