2016 Chevy Camaro: Growing Smaller In Size

It is no secret that Chevrolet is producing the next-gen Camaro and the car will be part of the company’s 2016 line-up. However, fans don’t have to wait that long if they wish to view the vehicle.

Apparently, the first batch of spy shots for the Camaro has already surfaced on the internet earlier today and it shows a test mule model doing the laps.

At a glance, one can easily see that the Camaro is slightly smaller than before. This confirms that the vehicle is built on the ATS platform, which is the same one that was used by the Cadillac ATS Coupe. The smaller body also implies that the next-gen Camaro is going to be lighter than before.

This will only benefit the car more as a lighter Camaro would also mean better power output from the engine and also, improved fuel efficiency. Surely enough, the upcoming Camaro is going to be a serious Challenge to Ford’s Mustang family.

On the downside of things, the Camaro is wrapped in super thick camouflage which makes it hard to tell on the styling and details on the test mule. Nevertheless, fans can look forward to more information spill in the coming year.
