2016 Chevy Camaro: Float Like A Butterfly, Sting Like A Bee

Weight loss program is apparently not just for human beings. Apparently, cars too are realizing that they have to be light in order to perform better. In this context, we are referring to the next-generation Chevrolet Camaro that is due to arrive in 2016.

The sports car was spied yesterday and the images were posted on the internet earlier today. When viewing the images, we noticed that the Camaro is smaller than ever. This makes it pretty obvious that the Camaro is also going to be light.

It seems that Chevrolet was right when they tipped the Camaro to come be built on the ATS platform, that is used by the Cadillac ATS Coupe. The featherweight Camaro also confirms that power will be optimized further and so is fuel economy.

Aside from that, the test mule in the spy shots is wrapped in thick camouflage so there is no way to tell on how it will be designed. Regardless, more details on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is expected to surface at the next Detroit Auto Show.
