Back in November last year, Jeep launched a new-generation of Wranglers and upon doing so, the carmaker promised to release custom tuned models of the vehicle in the coming months. Earlier today, Jeep went out to shed more light on the upcoming Wrangler and fans of the 4×4 can start learning about the vehicle.
Known as the Wrangler Freedom Edition, the 4×4 is confirmed to be coated in blue paintwork while also sporting a military badge. The hood will be re-designed with more creases and underneath it will see the 3.6 liter V6 towing the Freedom Edition Wrangler. Together with a 5-speed automatic transmission, the vehicle will be producing 285hp and will have an EPA rating of 18mpg.
Jeep described the Wrangler Freedom Edition as a vehicle that is prepared to step into the battlefield. In other words, this also means that the Wrangler Freedom Edition will also be durable and powerful at the same time.
Other features that are teased to be coming with the custom tuned Jeep Wrangler include a new colored bumper and 17” aluminium wheels. The latter will ensure that the Wrangler Freedom Edition runs light at all times, thus, optimizing power and improving fuel economy.
